Broadband infrastructure development in rural Serbia – Phase 2
We contribute to the deployment of broadband optical infrastructure enabling reliable high-speed internet access in rural areas of Serbia.

Project Insights
The project for the joint deployment of broadband communication infrastructure in rural areas of the Republic of Serbia – Phase 2 is led by the Ministry of Information and Telecommunications, with the goal of improving digital infrastructure and internet accessibility in less developed regions. The project focuses on providing reliable and high-speed internet access to households, educational institutions, SMEs, and local governments.
By developing open and technology-neutral electroniccommunication infrastructure, the project enables equal access tonext-generation networks, supporting the growth of digital society, education,business, and public services.
Solution
As part of the project, we perform civil and installation works for the construction of telecommunications infrastructure. Civil works include trench excavation, installation of protective ducts for fiber optic cables, and construction of telecommunications manholes.
Following the completion of civil works, installationactivities include fiber cable blowing through the installed ductinfrastructure and preparing the network for further connection andcommissioning phases.
Project Summary
The project contributes to the development of modern digital infrastructure in rural areas, enabling improved connectivity, access to digital services, and enhanced quality of life. It also plays a key role in reducing the digital divide between urban and rural areas and supports long-term economic and social development.
