Our female colleagues occupy a variety of positions, from managerial and engineering to field positions – side by side with experienced fellow riggers and technicians. Every day, their work contributes to business development, finding creative solutions and a more innovative approach to business.
On this occasion, we would like to introduce you to our colleague, Tijana Radisavljević, Project Manager, who was happy to answer a few questions for us.
Can you tell us more about your position in the company?
As a project manager in Access Network Design Department, my main task is project management and leading the team through various project phases. My job is to coordinate all resources with the help of good organization, planning and control in order to efficiently implement a specific project.
What do you love most about your work and what are your challenges?
I like working with people, solving problems together, and getting closer to the goal together. I try to fully support my colleagues so that they feel freedom in their work. I try to get them to see every challenge and every change that happens every day as an opportunity, not a threat and a stumbling block.
What challenges have you faced during your career as a woman in the telecommunications industry?
So far, I haven’t had any challenges as a woman in the industry. I have been working in the field of telecommunications since faculty and have never felt like I don’t belong there because I belong to the gentler sex. I am surrounded by great women and men for whom I have great respect.
What would you say to yourself at the start of your professional career?
Like everything in life, do what you love and try to be successful at it and happy with what you do. At the end of the day, the most important thing is that you feel comfortable in your own skin, everything else comes into play.
How do you like to spend your free time?
With my family and my friends. What I like most is that we travel, hike and create memories together.
